The reason it’s ending is because I thought that Nagatoro and her friends had finally reached the destination they were aiming for at the beginning of the story. So yeah, possibly a "Main story end. sequel story start" like the other one did with their massive time skip.

It's what I partially hope, we definitely could see more, if not of Nagatoro and Senpai, then at least spin-off with the other characters.

p.s. correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't nanashi (774) been getting less and less extreme in general? like even their hentai is becoming more vanilla. (which isn't a bad thing btw.... they drew some messed up shit early on :| )

from memory one of their last hentai was a nagatoro/senpai dynamic (not nagatoro or senpai obv).

Like they went from extremely fucked up, to still very fucked up, to kinda fucked, then a bit fucked (vampire one) then good ol vanilla wholesome content. (this is around the time they started doing nagatoro properly)

Yup, Naruto purified Nanashi, his last works were vanilla doujins about Naruto and Hinata, which eventually took us to Nagatoro.

His biggest main fetish was arguably always exhibitionism, you can see that in some way in almost all his works, although a lot of his works were less extreme, if I remember correctly he did continue to draw extreme stuff on pixiv, so he never fully stopped.

I feel it's more like his vanilla phase really, which took us to Nagatoro, but it's clear he was getting an itchy for at least exhibitionism stuff, so I fell he's absolutely gonna get back to it, even his exhibitionism stuff is very degenerate, just look at his Illya doujins.

Now that Nanashi cleaned his body from vanilla, he's probably gonna go back to his old ways, unless another series purify him again

Well at least it really looks like it's ending because he wants, so there's that, though we could still get a sequel or spin-off, hendo specify that they reached the destination that he aimed at the beginning of the story, technically doesn't say their story aa a whole is over, just that this story is over.

Most readers seem to know what he did before, I don't think he cleaned his pixiv either, unlike most mangaka who go legit, plus I'm pretty sure a  lot of his hentai fans read Nagatoro, probably part of the reason it got so popular top.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that like, with how a few safe authors make canon hentai of their own series, with how Nanashi fans not only know of his past, but many  want him to go back to hentai, I say official Nagatoro hentai is not only not impossible, but probably wouldn't trigger most fans, after all it absolutely wouldn't be canon, so they would be fine with it.

In short, everyone, don't be surprised if Nanashi makes a hentei either about the exhibitionist girls, or a "what if" where Nagatoro gets stolen by a pig, or senpai turns into a pig
