@feliciasneck I think they are a bit like the actor/comedian Eddie Izzard. Izzard identified as a transvestite, and he has also called himself "a lesbian trapped in a man's body" Transvestites are not necessarily gay or transgendered. They simply cross dress. Or are Genderfluid in that they remain flexible rather than committing to a single definition.
