i know he did it for the girl but that is rather reckless, if not because he is the MC who sudden awake his skill the last sec, everyone would be kill because of his action.

Even if what he did was dumb and could doom mankind, I admire this MC, my boy decided to sacrifice himself for the girl despite knowing his certain death and not having power (yet).

Edit: this is the only thing I can compliment about this story, because next chapter he already become mega OP. Boring story, skip.
