The new support mage must be thinking she made a big mistake by joining that party.
I agree, she should have listened to her intuition. From the title of the manga I was thinking oh hey cursed gear. Probably kicked him because once equipped it won’t come off. Or some crazy stat debuff.

But not the case. Crafting and handling gear. Their loss.

I like that he takes another peek at them and just, hell no and uses dispel. He knows he’s valuable, usually in these stories they have no idea how useful they actually are and act like they’re bottom of the barrel.

Typical song and dance starting for these kinds of manga but I gotta say, this is really is his own fault for getting kicked out. Unlike other mangas where the work was evident and it was some other stupid reason for kicking the person out, this one clearly shows that he secretly (and purposely didn't tell anyone) buffed everyone's equipment and took a debuff for doing so which absolutely would look like he's a burden to the group. A group could have been the nicest party in the world and they'd still kick him out or sideline him for that behavior. From various manga tropes, I'm going to guess that it's going to be like this throughout the series where he doesn't tell people the things they ought to know.

Yep that's exactly what has to be going thru her head, I feel bad for her cause she did nothing wrong, and now she's gonna end up getting folded along with the party smh
Let's be real, she did it to herself, I hope she won't join up with mc later or some shit >_>.. Let's be real any sane person that joins up with them AFTER seeing how they treated him, deserves it heh

I mean sure, but unlike other Mangas of this kind he didn't just shut up and actually said he had 'powerful tools' and, if they're sure they're not making a mistake they'd regret, but they're just on some power trip to begin with + their aim with the new 'support mage' was apparent

tbf it's not like she's gonna know what MC is like before even joining the party so she doesn't know if he's at fault or not, she didn't expect them to be so trash. Plus she's the only one of them that realized how valuable he truly was to the squad

So you saying she deserves it makes zero sense buddy

What I meant is, that she deserved it in that instance, since honestly sure she doesn't know him, but that means all she's seeing in that moment is them trashing someone else that used to be part of them, their attitude didn't exactly help.. If you were to entrust your life to people with that attitude well.. let's just say that a questionable choice, that was my point

Would you believe it if you were in their shoes (and a better party) though? Or if you had an employee that really looked like they were slacking off all the time and didn't show that they were working as hard as any of your other coworkers? Some appearance matters. With this particular manga's opening, I cannot attribute all the blame to the party for his dismissal.
Lets compare it to someone who doesn't have strong combat skills but the party is aware of the person's value https://mangadex.org/title/2436b0ca...n-t-need-my-training-skills-so-i-strengthened
Edit, somehow posted before I could give other examples of things where it's obviously the party's fault for ignoring clear value, but I think you probably get the idea. I just don't think that this particular manga is purely the party's fault for the dismissal, though I'm sure they're not going to be portrayed as a decent party anyway, but the mc basically hid himself away rather than anyone forcing him to be hidden (which would have been other examples I'd link)

MC is an idiot. It's as if he expects his team mates to read his mind and figure out that it was his power that was buffing them. What's worse is that he turned himself into the lynchpin of the team without letting the rest know.

Even if his party were good people, they would have still let him go. It's like secretly working on your boss's tasks and neglecting your own work.

typical of "kick out of hero party" where none of them notice the MC buffing them but in this case, the main clearly know he buffing them and didn't even say anything back, he could simple use dispel right in front of their faces and prove to them that they only strong because of him.

It's always

A) MC does not properly communicate their value to the party
B) MC does not properly communicate how much they're spending vs. the rest as a result of their different classes
C) Rest of party is unreasonably scummy to the point where they're caricatures
D) The replacement is nice, normal person who fills the role of leaving party, saying how much they suck without MC

We're checking all the boxes on this one
