@MrFakOff @lolmaolol ,They weren't on the same side, his acting skills top notch, the Xueyi Lou didn't expose him since his cultivation for the Demonic Bliss was higher and could easily killed Xueyi Lou. Also a few chapters back, before he teleported to a different realm, he wanted to master the Demonic Bliss so that he could prepare fireworks for the matriarch. The time wasn't yet right.

In the very first chapter its just said, that he was the son of a government official in some remote village and that he followed that bitch thousands of miles to the Sect. I was also wondering where he got that emblen from, that he pulled out of his good old prison pocket in the last chapter. Could be that he is the bastard of those two sect masters and was sent off to some village and the emblem was given to his caretakers as some sort of insurance?
But it sure as hell is a convenient way as an author to leave some blanks in earlier chapters so that one can fill out the backstory of characters/the full extent of skills at a later point.

@Kr4uti He got the emblem in the previous chapter from Earth Emblem No. 5 (the one he blew up). He then used the Finger of Flowery Swords on it behind his back to change the letter 5 to guardian.

@Lusario Damn, just went back and sure enough, i neither noticed the emblem hanging from that branch nor the flower petals from his technique flying around as he was carving the emblem. Thank you very much, you just closed a major loophole, that was bothering me!
Do you happen to know how he knew, that he hat to carve in the word guardian?

@Kr4uti such a backstory can mean many things but it makes you wonder if the system never gave him the full story? I know it’s likely a plot sinkhole that is going to be exploited into something meaningful I suppose....I still wonder if his family looking for him or gave up on him for being so stupid.....Or perhaps their dead..
