Profile > Find (button next to start conversation) > find all threads by user

Short answer is yes, nowadays it's pretty easy to get an IP address without using malwares, that's why the compliance of security data protocols is enforced. Specially years ago non-tech savvy ratkids and young adults drove mad the FBI with fake bomb warnings because some people became too frustrated when humiliated in Counter Strike and Call of Duty, simply google "getting swatted" and you'll find plenty of articles, including some of the BBC such as this one. Of course, posting alone sensible data already breaks the law but here in the Europe Union we have extra regulations so no matter the country it gets prosecuted.
