He'd settled down some recently, but I can't really say I'm shocked at this turn of events.

Nor am I going to be shocked when someone eventually demonstrates he has another alt with a different name and is still active on the forum. Probably watching this very thread right now.

Rectification, anyone (without an account) can view any content on the forums except for user profiles that has been made private by the user themselves.

In what I thought was originally a joke post, Jecro said he would make my reaction score 1000 (it was 643 at the time, just a few days ago) if I posted a long (tl;dr style) defense for him in response to one of Mankos replies.

So I did.

I just noticed now that my reaction score is now 1,044. But I haven't received that many reacts by far. Is something weird going on?

Is this a site exploit of some kind?

Eh, I don't really mind having it be open (but requiring an account to post) - nothing wrong with 'try before you buy'. Not like anyone should be doing anything private in here anyway. And the profile pages can be hidden to various degrees. (Ope, @Tony_Mushah beat me to it.)

Could be some of his reacts aren't showing up in your profile count but still count toward your score - things get weird when bans happen. I'd have to defer to a mod (or a dev, or possibly a banana) on that one.

Nothing wrong on my end with people who were banned, @literallymars (whoops wrong one) @literallymars_ strikes are still a red line on my score.

Also worth noting that not all reacts are the same - a bunch are 1 imaginary internet point, but is worth 3. (Hence my occasional anti-Baron sprees when someone wants points or strikes.)

If the ban equals to the ignore status then you could receive thousands of reactions/messages/mentions from said user and still don't get any notifications. But yes, different reactions such as love or helpful give a +3.

Nevermind. I found out how to view all notifications and there really was like 2 pages of love reacts. 😅

I have no clue, but reaction score is completely useless anyway, and not displayed in plain sight thanks to people fighting over a number going up or down.
