I love how he is called a walking disaster for being kicked from the "heroes party" even though they aren't really heroes so I wonder what the elf and King would think if they ever found out, I hope the mangaka does something like that in the future.

Considering how terrible and what theyve done over the years I'm amazed anyone called them heros.

I'm so tired of these types of series that make the "heros" cartoon villains or worse and expect you to believe anyone thought of them as good.

Thing is, for Japan the "Hero" thing has been heavily influenced by the Dragon Quest saga and their own folklore, so "Heroes" aren't titles that you earn after acting like one, but jobs that you are assigned by birth, divine intervention or royal decree, so they are more free to act like absolute assholes than the heroes we are used to in the west.

Actually your right, I had to reread the series. I have accidently thought of a different series where that happened. Man I wish it wasn't so easy at this time to mix series up they are so samey :S

Except for unwanted haremette #3 they're all conveniently braindead idiots who blindly trust rumors. This is following the same formula as last time with the guild and it's not very amusing. If we're going formulaic from now on the pattern will be:

1. Be irrationally hated from the start
2. Prove the haters wrong
3. Get a fan club (and a new waifu for the harem)
4. Move to the next area
5. Repeat step 1
