Having not read ahead in the LN, I'm really hoping the nun Lily doesn't turn out to be a suppressed psycho yandere...

technically, nobody knows what god "does" or "want" and nobody ever will because just his true nature is too far out human comprehension and as the bible says, only he can judge (obviously, keep it under context)
Slightly unrelated, but as a person who believes in God, why is he not allowed to do anything other than forgive? I get that I probably don’t understand, but even if I was the most forgiving person in the world, I’d still have a problem with the people who killed my son. As you said, far out of human comprehension.

Try to see it in a different way, the bible isn't aimed to be an history book, it treats the subject of spirituality and human nature, meaning how to be a better person than what you currently are. What the facts are doesn't really matter, as long as you "evolve" into someone better.
Now if we are going to talk about God's nature, he doesn't rely on electrical activity or chemistry to think and act like livings do, it is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. The way we percieve, comprehend and think doesn't apply to him

Oh no, don't tell me the unsubtly named Lily (Yuri in Japanese) is going to be a serious love rival and from now on we'll be dealing with a love triangle... oh and she's Yuu's fiancee? I wonder how Misha views her. Given that Lily is most likely lesbian, she is not attracted to Yuu and is facing an unwanted arranged marriage situation.

i found that argument funny cuz that LITERALY makes god not exist if the HUMANS are the ones to write about the supposed god and how when i need proof of gods existence it suddenly out of humans comprehension?

Let me ask you, if we were ants or lived in the deep seas, would it make the universe we live in non-existent because we can't prove it's existence?
This is what faith is, to believe in something you can't prove

No. Your claim is blasphemous to their religion because the bible or Abrahamic faith books (e.g. Quran) ARE directly derived from historical texts excavated from archaeological sites e.g. the Dead Sea Scrolls. They are also verified by historians and archaeologists, which strengthens their historical roots. “Is Christ/Muhammad real” is not only a theological but historical point of contention.

The reason why these religions are hard to kill off is precisely because of said legitimacy.

And honestly given that historical and modern crusades exist, religious books ultimately fail as a moral compass because their history is full of genocide, and in modern context, unfriendly against “abnormal” LGBTQ people. They also tend to behave like the nun in this chapter who do not align with logic and a proper lawful approach to morality.

Personal stance nobody asked: ex-christian because it doesn’t take a genius to see the majority being holier-than-thou because they believe their legitimacy allows them carte blanche to treat everyone else as inferior. And that they vilify incest and LGBTQ despite pastors and their roman catholic counterparts preying on actual children it’s laughable.

I have to say you are mixing a lot of different things.
  • First thing, don't use the bible to explain history or the reverse as both treat 2 very different subjects, one is immaterial (faith) while the other one is material.
  • Religious books such as the bible are supposed to be re-interpreted with time and human evolution while keeping core principles (for the bible, it would be respect, love and altruism tought by jesus). The bible is a tool, if you are going to push the blame, put it on the user, not the tool, else you might as well ban everything that exist on earth, including a simple stick. Anything and everything can be used as a weapon.
  • Using bad apples to push back the entire farm industry is the exact same thought process that leads the majority of people all around the world to be against the (silent) majority LGBT who only wants to live their life peacefully without having everyone questioning who they are. Don't be like them, be better.
(I'm also a christian who believe in God in case it wasn't obvious after that)

you are the exception, not the norm and unfortunately if you told any close associates in church that you read yuri and whatnot on a regular basis I'm pretty CERTAIN they will spit on or outcast you. Based on personal experience I would not even treat you like a religious folk because you already don't behave like them.

I prefer to treat people reactively because I am not a saint.

Also I would believe most theologians will, depending on who you speak to, either advocate "re-interpretation" like you said or outright accuse you of blasphemy as well, because most old-school Christians see it as "absolute". Also I believe you are the one mixing it up because you, as a Christian are trying to tell people a modern and not-accepted take on interpretation of the absoluteness of the bible's word. Hating on LGBTQ folks is one of them. There's a reason why there's hundreds of sub-branches of the faith after all, since Christians can never agree with each other lmao.

Stereotypes exist for good reason and unless the majority of Abrahamic faiths users stop using their backing by a deity to bully or cause suffering onto others, I will treat them with suitable contempt. I'm pretty sure a lot of us know a few Christians that act like the asshole nun in this chapter, because it's perfectly acceptable to cause suffering onto others when "someone makes you feel sick".
