I love that everything around mr lin is a misunderstanding, and somehow i still wouldn't be surprised if hes one of the strongest entities, due to or otherworldly knowledge, or the fact it seems hes being 'protected'

I think "Inky" is like a demon god of knowledge or something, it would fit with the whole "books granting knowledge" stuff
It doesn't mean they are evil, but they are clearly not "good"
