City aside I think Panicky still sounds weird compared to Petrifying tho assumed it was like an Engrish loan word

I think it's already good enough as is so changing it now would break the consistency for the sake of westernizing it. I'm for keeping it as it is.

I think Nuojin is just fine. For one thing the city has existed for thousands of years if I remember right so it having a name that no longer seems "in line" with the common vernacular of the time would actually make more sense to me.
