I really don't understand the adaptation choices for this arc's latter parts. The last 4 or so chapters cover... Maybe two sentences in the novel.

I think they wanted to convey the full horror of the ceremony, but to me it feels boring and uselessly dragged on.

Still, at least we seem to finally see the ending.
