Partially, the raws actually do have the smoke effect on them but Utoon does increase the thickness of the smoke sometimes (this time included, in the raws you can see le booba) other times they cut out entire panels if there's no dialogue on them (there was a couple on chapter 140 where Moon was waking up rather dishevled wearing a thong and unbuttoned shirt) or partial panel cuts if there is anything lewd (there's one on ch 143 and 143.5 of the kid partially under covers with hickeys and bitemarks after the pope does... things to them.)
There are more than what I've mentioned, these are just the recent ones that I remember.
EDIT: They also edit Walpurgus to look less hot and thicc.
