That term is incorrect, as the earlier scan used a term taken directly from the novel, which was a fan translation with MTL-level quality. You can literally get that word by Google Translating '诺金'.i kinda prefer "nokin" from the earliest chapters translated by zeroscans. the hard K gave the name a sort of biting edge that, imo, perfectly fit the eldritch nature of the setting
I can't really create a poll here lol.I don't see a poll here, but keep the name as it is, from what I can tell from googling the name means the golden promise, and don't really understand your "westernized" version of the name

I really thought his cake was finally nerfed because of this panel lol
Honestly I personally don't mind either way if you make it more western or not. Just appreciate you scanning this 🫵🫡😀I can't really create a poll here lol.
That's the literal meaning. But it doesn't really have any important meaning on this series even on the novel so it's not really lore-bound. "Norgin" doesn't have any important meaning either, but I'm only trying to get the opinions of each readers to see what they prefer. But regardless, I respect whichever it is.
Irregardless, I still like "Nokin" better. That term is incorrect, as the earlier scan used a term taken directly from the novel, which was a fan translation with MTL-level quality. You can literally get that word by Google Translating '诺金'.
Norgin doesn't really sound good, Nokin was alright in the earlier chapters even if 'incorrect', but I think Nuojin is fine. Yes it's not westernized but it's not that jarring compared to the names and setting. It's also what we've spend almost a hundred or more chapters adjusting to. It would be more jarring if it was changed at this point when it's hardly a bother -- unlike the names which absolutely needed westernized to match the setting.I can't really create a poll here lol.
