Let's be fair, he is someone that was in his 30s, an 18-looking year old would probably be considered a kid to him.

Hell, even the elderly he somehow mentally approaches like they are mere kids, as if his own mentality is ancient beyond measure. Honestly, I have my suspicions about his true nature and that time is likely not really important for the entity he is... if my hunch is correct.

Either way, it is probably even worse than you think it is. She is a lab grown baby, she could easily be 2 year old, just with the mental capacity of an adult (though I am not sure about actual mental maturity). In short, she has the body of someone around the 18 years of age, the mental capacity of an adult, the mental maturity of someone that lived in a cave half their life with only indirect info and the common sense to fit that... is my guess.

I will be answering this assuming you are talking about the blushing; personally, I believe it is used to emphasize her cuteness as well as her awkward/timid nature in this situation. While I do agree it is still weird how in some scenes she has little to no clothes, it is also used for showing how she was treated as an experiment, clothes aren't a necessity for a lab-grown organism(?)
