I know she's being unreasonable, but if for instance the girl is bound by narrative force into pushing "the protagonists" back together, I actually feel very sorry for her.

Like, "please, you're the only one he'll listen to, I don't want him to leave!" in this sort of situation is exactly from the cringey shounen harem playbook. So as to imply that the harem underling loves the protagonist so much that she'll degrade herself and be satisfied with being a third wheel just to keep him around... Which is supposed to be endearing and heart-wrenching, of course, instead of horrifying and pitiful as it is more-faithfully depicted here XD

I find it funny that she feels guilty about not being the “real Maise” and deviating from the plot when this whole story is about how she deviates from the plot. I’m waiting for her eureka moment when she lets herself be herself.

What a crazy situation. The fact that she feels she needs to appeal to the ex-girlfriend to keep the guy around speaks volumes. The whole interaction screams that she isn't confident in either herself or her relationship. Also, it seems a bit silly to expect the ex to freak over his leaving like she is. In fact, it'd be more normal for her to want him to leave. Like others have mentioned, I wonder if this ties into the plot of the original story trying to keep the heroines close to the hero.

Be too good and reliable and others will use your goodness and overly rely on you. Always remember that you can say no, just like Maise.

@Zephyr247 Supposedly it's a lot about her feeling guilty about taking "Everyone else's" Maise, and probably more importantly the fear that one day she will cease to exist when the "original Maise" comes back. The fact that she broke up means she's fed up a bit with the original story, but that had to do with her being the "Hero's Girlfriend" rather than being "Lovely Maise." She can still be "Maise" without being "Syukr's girlfriend."

Hailey is the kind of girl that got accepted as a rebound girl for the guy who got dumped. But since guy listens to his ex she goes to the Maise to try to convince Syukr from doing something she thinks is not good

She stole mc’s man and then got mad when mc doesn’t care about the said man anymore? Shameless.

B*t*h WTF!!! You think everyone's gonna help you just because you feel burdened by a problem? Why don't you go solve it yourself? Why do people always do this? Then you get angry when your request for help is denied🙄 Wasn't it enough she heard you out? Be thankful she even listened to you, because I wouldn't if it were me. That's why you gotta be careful who you're generous towards to. Hate it when that happens, makes me blow a fuse

Anyways, THANK YOU FOR THE HARDWORK ❤️❤️❤️
