You really didn’t understood why the main character fucked up. If you read chapter 1 again you’ll know more rather than speed reading.

The MC was a righteous man swore to make a cure for cancer, especially since his sister died from it.

The company he worked for is a Capitalistic and purely works on business that wants profit for years.

The MC and his team made Celicure which is a much cheaper and faster cure (2 years) with far little side effects. While his company already had a cure called Iloa that takes 5 years to cure and has a lot of side effects.
For a company that makes pure profits a longterm usable product yields more money. Corporations like those don’t care for their clients as long as they can suck more money. So, the corporation bought their Celicure in order to bury it from existence, since owning it you can have the control to limit or even destroy it.

It is a decision that was cheap for the rich company enough to save their money making low quality Iloa cancer drug.

That is why the MC, who had a tragic past which made it as his life long struggle to prevent it from ever happening again to act that way.

At least that is a much normal character than those 1 dimensional flat overpowered MCs out there.

If it's fully magic I don't really mind, but the author went with realistic setting... It's bound to be misleading and might be hazardous if the author creates their own unfounded/untested theories based on real world science but framing it as 'undisputable facts' in the story since the system(author) said so, people might assume it's true while it can be very wrong.

Honestly this site needs to filter out all these trash.
For example they could put a average grading score into everyones profile and delete every account with a score of 3 or lower.
