He says he loves her more times in the Web Novel amplied text (including, as I said, that "Yami-senpai, MY girlfriend", during chapter 3 of his PoV), I have to look them. But even in the manga, that was not a indirect declaration. Is very strong: "I am already fall in love, WITH YOU, OF COURSE".That's the only time he said it to her & it was an indirect "I think I'm falling in love"
Not. She really thinks she is not worthy of him and break with him is a self-imposed punishment by the attempt of suicide of his mother. She recognizes in her inner monologue in chapter 40 she really didn´t want to be encountered. Other thing it´s she being a tsundere menhera with contradictory desires and yes, progresively getting mad, literal was just see Yuu and she lost all her -precarious- mental sanity at the few minutes. She recognizes that he's worried about her & blocks him so she won't know if he passed or failed her test of showing enough concern to break her resolve. Which we know is a test she thinks he failed b/c she goes off on him in the crash out about not looking for her.
True, but definitely she plays much more that role with Hikari than with Yuu (and of course, is more easy play that role with a naive girl like Hikari, than with the boy who literally deflowered you). At least to him, she doesn´t talk about she had sex with other men and never plays be a whore, just a bad girl who could or couldn´t not be a virgin, like Kazusa with Haruki.Yes this is true but she was also playing this role w/ Yuu and thinks Yuu believed her act.
Of course, but the point is definitely her surname was already Sudo in this point of the story. So, she perfectly could said to him during those 3 days. And of course, if Hikari didn´t say to him the real name of "Aya-chan", much less she are going to say "Taa-kun" her surname. That's a thought bubble after she's already decided to ghost. There's legit no evidence Yuu knows any of her last names b/c, as he's admitted in the short chapters, he just doesn't know much about her.
Still a disrespect, you has to give at least once the real name of the person, over all if you are talking with your supposed best childhood friend. Use always a nickname for a person and not his/her real name or surname is a disrespect and just this little detail securely would avoid all this disaster. Still a disrespect Hikari did with her friends too, who had to pressure her to gain the real name of "Taa-kun".Because to her she's Aya-chan. I dunno about you, but when I'm relating anecdotes about people I generally just use the names I use for them.
And of course, she never showed photos of "Aya-chan" to Yuu. I bet the poor boy dies ipso facto there if he sees the photos of Hikari in swimsuit along Yami using exactly the same black sexy bikini she used to have sex with Yuu in the hotel 3 days journey -and Maruto talked about this detail in X when he released chapter 28-.
I hope really Yami at least would have clean that bikini, but yes, Hikari definitely touched a clothes whom in the past definitely were in contact with... sexual fluids.
She didn´t get the recommendation until third year. Is logical Yuu thinks she will go to study in the same high school as him (and not, was not guaranteed she got the recommendation and she securely had to work hard to achieve it), and again, she doesn´t seem worry in the most minimum before the idea of she will have to spent less time with her supposed best friend, and of course, she never asks him about his own school choice.Hikari is a high achiever who got recommended for an academically challenging school - this seems like a totally obvious of course she'd go thing given everything I've ever read about academics in Japan.
Again, Yuu didn´t keep Hikari in the dark about their relationship beyond than the two hours between the kiss and the confession. That is the only moment where he really hidden it to Hikari and his last words in WN chapter 38 proofs he recognizes his fault on this. That doesn't change that Aya and Yuu explicitly kept Hikari in the dark about their relationship so she really can't be faulted for persuing him.
That doesn´t change Hikari never ask to him ever about his past couples -I mean, she never even ask Yuu for Seki the kouhai-, and of course, when he asks her if she feels bad in the chapter 36, she LIES him and she says she is upset just by the two hours lost by "the dead phone", so, she is lying him too and saying she believed in his "little lie" about he leaving her in Seen during that time.Sure, I think his actions are understandable. I also think Hikari being upset is understandable - very frequently situations aren't a clear cut one person is right and one person is wrong.
Yes, that is my point, he probably say her to go to his house to meet his parents and she denied it, as all the most of the other things Yuu proposed to her. I mean, even Hikari had to make an effort to convince her to go to her house. There's no evidence of this?
Aya's never been to his house - it comes up in the chapter where she goes to Hikari's. That means his parents likely never met her, which would be incredibly suspicious after six months if they knew about her. Also Hikari and her mom talk to his mom & it's never mentioned and like moms talk about this stuff, especially if the girls go to the same schools.
But Yuu securely talked about her with his parents and again, he securely asked them by please doesn´t say nothing to Hikari (by the reasons already mentioned, and again, his cowardice), that would be the reason why them met Kaneda (and he can use Kaneda as cover to his night with the love hotel with Yami) and Hikari doesn´t even know who is Kaneda.
His behavior and HER behavior. Again, both failed mutually not just a love interests, but as friends too. For all this, I will very upset if Maruto didn´t left them have their version of the conversation of Haruki with Setsuna in the train to the airport of Narita where happened what happpened with Kazusa.Yeah sure - his behavior is both understandable and caused harm. I think this is one of the themes Maruto is exploring on repeat here.
It would be very pathetic from part of Hikari avoid Yuu in this point, and equal by his side. Very Eriri acting, very coward to this point of the story. Even if they decided anyway put in stand-by their confessions until save Yami or whatever.
And also, if you want Ayami being a villain so good as Kazusa, she needs to proof she is still able to exert influence over both him and her, even after Hikari and Yuu joined all the pieces in their own conversation and taked decisions about it.
