I reckon both will be happier in that town far away from the capital. Developing agriculture seems to be Nazel's passion. Less opportunities for that in the capital, probably. Nazel most likely would be sitting behind a desk doing admistrative work over there. Agnes ought to be much, much happier the further away she's from the social circles of the capital, considering her past in those circles. Now she can start from a clean slate. And she can actually do something with her life, instead of uselessly chasing men despite being forced to look like a fashion potato by her family. So, aside from spreading rumours of Nazel being a criminal (never judged), the princess just did them a favour.

Edit: Not to mention the princess herself ended up with a sleazy womaniser as her husband. She's looking forward to a life of scandals.
