Since the RAW is a few chapters ahead, here's sneak peek of next chap:
looks like the brother is just hella sheltered
he never had to associate with his peers so he didn't get Agnes's debut experience....yet

yeah, next chapter it's his turn to get the public humiliation by other kids, THAT is the start of him finally breaking out of his shell (being shellshocked while away from the parents)
him at the end of this chapter is just getting back from said mindbreaking

while staying outside, Bell found him and offered to bring him home, but after Paul refused Bell pondered aloud about what to do since he's got business in the south (Sutrena) after this
Paul instead ask Bell to take him along to Sutrena

...which then get reported by the servants that Paul got 'kidnapped' and the parents took it as being done under Agnes's order...

Also, man, dude taking her back when she's been a dumb slut is foolish lol

Lets pray for this arc to end quickly and robin or whatever to get hanged so we can get kawaii back
🙏

Unfortunately, if the manga follows the novel, Robin's storyline doesn't come to an end until the absolute end. But don't worry. There will still be cute and fluffy moments in between!

In the previous chapter, I hated Lilliane, believing that she had effectively cheated on a loving and loyal man like Torres. However, in this chapter, I learned that they didn't have much of a relationship to begin with, which is why he wasn't even a thought in her mind when her story was being told.

Serves me right to let my first impression cloud my judgment. That being said, I honestly can't really say I like how this relationship is written. Feels like poor writing on the author's part. Are you really telling me that Torres and Lilliane have never talked properly about their engagement before the moment in this chapter? Or that he never bothered to say the words he did here out of fear of his boss/her father? Maybe not publicly but he definitely could have said it privately. This whole arc about their relationship feels so incredibly forced.

Torren boy, she cheated on you 🥲 I don't care about the circumstances at this point..

Honestly it's ridiculous how its just swept aside and torren still simping over her, forgiving her is one thing, but thats another.

She single-handedly pulled down the enjoyment for me ngl

I'd assume they never met in private, just the two of them. There were always other people around. So, they wouldn't have been able to talk about anything they wouldn't want their parents to hear about. Consequently they wouldn't have talked about anything much, especially with both of them so afraid of Lilianne's father. Seeing how having met Robin in private immediately got Lilianne kicked out of the family, it's quite reasonable to think like this. It was also historically accurate than an umarried young woman would be supervised by a chaperone to make sure she did nothing that would be a mistake in her parents' opinion.

This hole lumiere arc made no sense and was rushed, i can understand why MC woud be sympathetic towars her but it make no sense why Knight boy woud not only forgiver her but also blame himself for her Straight up cheating!
Here is why...
1° this society resembles 19h century's standards in noble relationships, in this time period just being in the same room alone whit another eligible noble man woud be considered cheating so Knight boy definitely woud feel cheated by her!
2° it makes even less sense if she didn't cheat on him and just had a light hearted conversation with princess fiancé. Did her father forbid her from even talking whit Knight boy? If just having someone to listen to her worries was all she needed then what the fuck was Knight boy doing? he said he loved her sooo much, so why didnt he talked to her about it???? And i feel like author also knows this a big plot hole, thats why they dont show any past interactions between Knight boy and lumiere ( all we gets is the "i loved you since childhood flashback") if they did, again Knight boy woud feel cheated by her!
3° even if whe ignore the plot hole, the assassination attempt is by itself confirmation of her cheating. She was banished from her family and the first person she goes too is the guy that basically caused it??? Why didn't she contacted Knight boy first? Is he that unreliable or unreachable? even if he mostly stays at the Knight barracks (were she coud stumble upon her father the Knights captain) it woud still be better than asking princess fiancé for help, and its not like she's a criminal on the run or banished from public places! beacuse she met whit him and hes basically royalty status, unless....
Yea i cant visualize any other reason to commit murder for someone unless you love that person, and even if you don't think so, still Knight boy woud probably be thinking "hum why didnt she reached me first?" "why woud she do something like that for him?" He woud definitely feel cheated!!
So im conclusion she belongs in the streets!!
Also she tried to kill a lord so execute her immediately!

My theory is that Robin's magic is something akin to mild brainwashing. Not necessarily direct mind control but more an intoxicating effect that loosens a person's judgment and makes them easy to influence. If that's the case then Lilliane was particularly vulnerable to it given her circumstances, which could afford her some latitude. But that's just speculation.
