While I'm disappointed the story isn't really acknowledging that Yatara or whatever his name is (and quite frankly everyone else) was a huge piece of shit for the way they treated Agnes, the reaction to finding out who she is is fucking hilarious.

... Also this whole story is gonna be weird for me because Agnes is my mother's name.

I'm assuming he's the trader himself, yeah. In his introduction they mention Second Prince didn't have backing because his mother was a "commoner", but that probably actually means "from a wealthy merchant family" or something. So I'm thinking being a trader's not even really a disguise for him (except for a wig for hair length, I guess), he just enjoys moonlighting as one occasionally because it was in the family business + he had no royal responsibilities until now.

I think it might be the case where the best way to get revenge is to live your best life and ignore all the haters. I mean, I guess she could make them look like pieces of shit, but she still has a fairly warped view of herself. It has gotten better and she is not like completely dense, she realizes she does look nice now.
