Thinking about it a bit more, if her parents (or grandparents, her last memory was of her grandfather smiling at her after all) onesidedly decide about that completely without talking about this with her, those would be some shitty parents in my opinion. I mean, it was not a situation where the person on life support was basically a vegetable, braindead in a coma, she was conscious the entire time (aside from sleeping of course) as far as we know and still had enough strength in her to properly communicate with her surroundings. Would it hurt the parents to consult with their daughter about that? Would it be a painful discussion? Sure, but definitely less painful than having their daughter die.
Meh, maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but I definitely hope later chapters will put a bit more light on her death and how exactly it came to be.

my understanding is this

equipment takes power in from wall sockets
if power fails, it fails over to a battery back up that keeps shit running uninterrupted (if maintained)
This gives time for a generator to kick in and become the primary power source.

If the equipment is old enough it may not have a battery fallover, or if its old enough it may not remember settings or that it needs to be on.

from raw manga alone of which there is 8 chapter,, they were dead already because of airplane incident, and MC survived the incident. and her family is implied to be very rich
so her grandparent could totally pour money to just build AI for MC. As of now , there is no such thing that suggest some sinister plot to kill MC in japan happened at all. she just simply DiED. .

the tone of this in raw so far is also only comedy light-hearted, so no worries about BS drama ( i hope )

Correct. Hospitals have specific plugs that emergency equipment and life support equipment are connected to, so during power outages, the backup generators kick in.

I'm not sure about Japan in particular, but it should be the same way.
