You say you have more chapters on your website, but you don't even have this chapter on there.
Only 1-6.
My sincerest apologies Rowdy91. We are remodeling the KDTscans website but I am going to upload the Vol 2 chapters now and will post them 1 chapter per week here on mangadex. We are waiting for Vol 2 uncensored, but once that is released we are going to convert the censored version over to uncensored for everyone!

Imagine you're the dad and your unemployed middle aged son tells you he's marrying a big titty barely legal hillbilly girl. MC would sound like a giant sleaze bag.

I can't help but feel like our protagonists are in fact the more unreasonable ones here. Y'all barely know each other lmao
In Asian region, where Arranged Marriage is still common with more than 50% of marriages occuring though that system, the point of "barely know each other" doesn't even make sense.

I mean, atleast in this case MC did talk and live with that girl for a few weeks by the looks of it, which is atleast still better.

In Arranged Marriage, majority of the time you don't even properly meet or talk with your partner until after marriage.

Also, what really is the use of knowing each other properly before marriage anyway?

I mean, if there is some special quirk with one of the partners which could cause breakup before marriage, it's obvious they would keep it hidden for years atleast until marriage.

And it's not like knowing each other for long time is helping anyway either, as Divorce rates are just going high around the World even though people are living together without being married for so long that they would know about eachother more in detail than even their parents.

What? No, you're not making sense in several ways at once. Arranged marriages were historically common in East Asia, but in modern times they are quite rare not only in Japan, but in China and South Korea as well. In any case, the prevalence of arranged marriage isn't really relevant to whether it makes sense for these two to decide to get married within a matter of weeks of meeting. There's not even any reason I can see to rush, they're just being kinda silly.

Arranged marriages that are preceded by a meeting where either side can can say "no" are not rare in Japan. Straight up forced arranged marriages such as the girl having a fiancé since childhood by arrangement of the parents or a woman being forced to marry for political or business purposes are quite rare.

Arranged Marriages in Japan

Arranged Marriages in Japan – Understanding the Omiai System

Arranged marriages in Japan are now in the minority because one report says that over 70% of Japanese marriages are based on love. The remaining 30% are arranged – or what the Japanese call “omiai.”

An integral part of omiai is a nakodo – a person who serves as a go-between between parents and children. Parents engage the services of a nakodo who is known for his expertise in these matters and also for his knowledge of the marrying parties, making him the best judge in deciding the degree of compatability of the marrying parties. A nakodo therefore possesses important knowledge of each potential spouse’s educational achievements, socio-economic status and family background in order for him to be able to decide if they are ideally or wrongly matched.

When the nakodo decides it is a good match, a meeting is then arranged between man and woman; parents of both are normally present during the first meeting. After the first meeting, the couple will go out and decide whether or not they should marry.
