Thx for picking this up. Been looking for a translator to work on it with but it's great to see that someone else picked up the mantle.
These two new chapters were packed full of revelations. Glad to see that even though the Ganymeans are peaceful they're not naive, and they try to find if humans were honest or not.

tbh I like the book better than this manga adaption even if that was only a B grade novel (it was Hogan's earliest novel after all). I felt the book made the whole investigation of the corpse more interesting and the reveals about the truth of his origins more intriguing as the onion layers of the mystery got pulled away though out the story. The manga feels more like it jumps straight into the secret conspiracy without that prior build up and making it way more central to events than I recall the novel doing. The novel really was more a mystery box format focused on the scientists conducting the investigations.

Pleasantly surprised to see so many here in a 5 year dormant manga.

Have to agree with all that, but considering how hard-SF the whole thing is I'm amazed it got done as a manga at all, and considering the nature of adaptations in general I'm amazed that the differences are as small as they are.

I actually think it was a better novel than some of his later ones. Characterization was a bit sparse, the whole conspiracy thing was handled weirdly tidy. But that puzzle made up for most of that--I do think it was one of the best SF mysteries of all time.
