Oh, Shijouin looks so cute waiting for the festival! No wonder Niihama feels the need to protect her smile. He's still unconsciously in love with her, but that's enough for him to try and take back the festival discusions.

Akasaki, Norodoa, and Kazemihara dominate the discussions. Yet their non-existent progress means that none of them have any real concrete plans. They kinda ruined the school festival for everyone.

Luckily, Niihama has a plan. And it involves business. What a way to use your experience as a businessman in your new life! He's ready to move on from the shackles of his past life and create a better future for himself, Shijouin, and the rest of the class!

Kanako really does seem to know a lot about life despite her youth. I guess being a good observer pays off for her. She's so happy that her brother has something to strive for!

He's not just helping build her up for the future, he's also getting helped himself when he sees Haruka's fresh take on things like school events. This adds to the growth of his character - just because he's mentally an adult doesn't mean he has nothing left to learn or room to grow further.

Kanako truly represents us readers. This man is too dense for his own good, he has to wake up and smell the roses. He loves her, and that's really the true reason he's doing this much given this second chance. He's starting to realize hints on his own so it's not too bad. Now stand up and make everyone proud by breaking that stupid deadlock in the classroom.

On a side note I too am getting the feeling his sister also knows way too much, it would be very interesting if she's also time leaping like he did, but we'll see.
