Niihama was about to confess his feelings to Haruka right after celebrating her birthday at her house. Haruka suddenly collapsed and went into a state of shock. She was bedridden and only responded with unintelligible grunts, her eyes were open but devoid of life. The Haruka in the first timeline switched place with the reincarnated Haruka , the timeline where she took her life. It’s been 10 days since her collapse , she has made no signs of recovery. Niihama managed to return back to his life as a office worker , but he came back 2 years before Haruka took her life. He goes on to rescue Haruka from the hell she has been experiencing , she was adamant in not leaving her job because she felt that she needed this job to prove her worth. Eventually , Niihama managed to get through with her and saved her from incurring more detrimental thoughts and self hatred , which led her life on a positive note. This prevented Haruka from committing suicide.Niihama then collapsed (in the timeline when he went back 2 years before Haruka’s suicide) and was transported back into his reincarnated body (high schooler era). He vehemently made his way to Haruka’s bedroom , there she was , fully recovered on her hospital bed.

it’s a rather confusing but interesting arc. It may take up a considerable amount of chapters for it to reach the end of this arc(the spoilers arc). There was a whole chapter that was dedicated to explaining the concept of time traveling
