Nothing was wrong with Netscape Navigator at the time because there was nothing to compare it to. Back then you took what you could get.

Remember, 28.8k and 56k modems were the norm. You couldn't do shit fast anyway and that's not just on the internet. Computers weren't snappy like they are now. They were beautiful times, even if Netscape was ugly as sin, haha.
