This is.. actually really sweet :3 Truthfully I would have been completely fine with Toru just protecting Sasamori since it means that he's actually close to the point of treasuring her more specially than others ? But I really like this ending too~ Sasamori wouldn't just sit back while she's being protected and is proactively trying to help people and doing the protecting~ We just need more MCs like her ? ...The fuck. This is literally impossible, lol. If you thought you had an iris as broadly useful as Hoshimiya's, you would be applying it to everything, and it's clear Hoshimiya wasn't being subtle about it either. If it was all just you making things up you'd notice the contrast within the day. Even if your delusion enabled you to just power through the inconsistencies, everyone around you (starting with the doctors that were surprised by a one-of-a-kind situation) would realise as soon as you made a wrong projection. This is dumb.
