Yes and no. It is mostly played for laughs.
While there's some events with the females of the harem and they start paying attention to him, the harem of Ryuuga actually doesn't know "he is a she", so our MC is desperately trying to keep the harem from crumbling, while balancing his relationship

If you like misunderstanding comedies is chock full of it.
