Love this chapter! It feels like a new beginning. Layla is so relatable as always, but wow, she really need to pays more focus to her surroundings. Also, I love that we get into Mia's thoughts this chapter when we usually don't—their interactions are always so wholesome. This manga looks like 'toxic yuri,' but it's one of the sweetest I've ever read. But who knows? Maybe Tenda is the toxic aspect, judging from the look of the final panels

I don't think she will be toxic. a think she more consured cause in the football game layla went berseker mode and that flabberghasted her, so she'll probably just won't wanna trust her and be more sceptical of her then of being toxic to her.

You know, I’ve actually been thinking about this: would giving a character like Layla anxiety medication be a good idea? I mean, it’s probably the realistic route, but from a storytelling and character-building perspective, maybe it ruins something.

yeah i can imagine it'd take a lot of therapy/discussion but i hear a lot of teens get put on adhd medication instead of proper treatment (but stuff like anti depressants isn't an instant cure), but yeah i guess while social anxiety never fully goes away might as well force yourself to get used to it as a teen so you could at least fake it as an adult as opposed to ppl who go full shut in mode after graduating

actually i'm kinda a failed voice actor but that's a story for another time lol well i am older (90s kid) but i don't think my voice ever got that deep
