Usually it’s orange and right now it’s purple. Does the main site’s color usually change every so often? This feels like that one triangle in a circle factory meme.

I use dark mode as base, as it is easier on the eyes and more comfortable for people who are basement dwellers at heart.

The forums seem to be mostly separate from the rest of the site. That includes themes, I guess. If it bothers you, make it a feature suggestion.

Light sensitivity is a bitch, looking at a bright white screen and getting a migraine after a while ain't worth it. Although I haven't run into this problem with most modern monitors.

It's especially difficult for vampires who never see the sun (Ex. my older sister). Or lazy teenagers who never see the sun(Ex.me). I don't get migraines though, my eyes just aren't used to it. I don't want to have to get a new glasses prescription, my eyesight is bad enough already.

Probably because the devs are based, and knows what's RIGHT and what's not. They do not expect the WRONG to use the forums, after all.

Thanks to my eye colour, light sensitivity is something I've been stuck dealing with most of my life (I always carry my sunglasses with me when I'm out). It's just one of the downsides of having central heterochromia/hazel eyes.

You traded your normal sensitivity of your eyes for more beautiful eyes, it's a fair trade.

What browser are you using? I remember Samsung Internet causing issues if you have the "dark mode" enabled.
