It's pretty jarring to suddenly use they when, all this time, he refers to Tachibana as he. Especially confusing when the readers might think the "they" may refer to Tachibana and the girls.

Tachibana JUST admitted to wanting to return to being in a female body instead of staying in the current male one. I think its pretty clear Tachibana's gender identity isnt quite as black and white as you are making it out as anymore.

And just because you and one other person, shockingly the two bringing up "shitty pronoun" and "freaks", are too small brained to see the obvious context with what is being said doesnt mean most other people are confused...its really really not a hard concept to grasp.

If you read the sentence and are confused...honestly thats just kind of sad. Tachibana's face is literally right there in the background of the panel of Jinguuji talking...like...use your eyes? Also...again...the context of what is being said. The context that makes it so glaringly obvious who he is talking about...

"Who is Jinguuji talking about?!" Idunno maybe the person whose image is literally on panel and the person who the sentence is clearly referring too...

I'll never get how reading comprehension is this hard for some people.
