I miss good old classy and smart lawfull evil masterminds with complex plans including multiple failsafes...

@nfzeta unfortunately authors who offer compelling storylines is rare these days. Everyone just seems to be interested in earning a quick buck and publishers are just throwing shit at the walls hoping it sticks, same goes for anime. Even if it’s shit they can just axe it and move on to the millions of other potential stories. When it comes to these isekai/magic and sword genre’s authors are hoping that their poor storytelling will be covered up by the cool powers of the OP characters and think readers won’t notice. I guess if the target audience is teenagers it makes sense...

This story isn't as compelling enough as Overlord to be able to kill a close supporting character like that and not come across as an edgy, pure shock factor move. The author made the wrong move with this chapter.

This manga was never good to begin with, so much random stuff going on, and It just keeps getting worse with every chapter they release.. But now with this chapter it just got ridiculous.
I guess the author doesn't even give a fuck about the plot anymore.. Feels like he is doing whatever comes to his mind and hoping for the best. :s
