It's more than a stretch, it's an outright abandonment of this series' world building. Even without being anyone's representative, she herself is nobility connected to a ducal house and that guy had to have known it. To assault her is to throw away your life, possibly even your family's and that is what anyone who considers her a stuck up bitch would assume would happen. The other workers should be scrambling to remove themselves from any association with the guy or the incident. Yet here they are, chilling as if it's the 20th century and they;ve just told a middle manager to pound rocks.NGL, even if she is a bit of a cunt, and could have phrased things better, for some big burly blowhard to assault the person who is representing both Myabi and the Duke is a bit of a stretch. I get that it was to develop her character, and it was a boil that needed lanced, but feels like the author skipped over social norms to progress the scene.
You might be the only person here who thinks Alisha was in the right there lolI'm aware she has been interacting with them, my point was more in terms of the pacing of the chapter itself: the confrontation with the crew goes from page 13 to page 16, there's then 4 pages of flashback, the talk with Miyabi and on page 29, the very next day, she gives her apology and then the crew laughs it off like there was never an issue to begin with, claiming the issue wasn't with what she said but how she said it. I still say the crew strongly overreacted and their outburst at her was completely unwarranted, serving only as a way to force the plot point 'see? she's wrong and needs to change'. Frankly I wouldn't have blamed her if she took after a certain captain, planted her legs like tree trunks and said 'no, you move.'
Lol I wouldn't go that far exactly, I'm not denying her haughty nature but I do think the characters around her are treating her way too harshly and exaggerating the slights against them. Chiffon effectively abandoned her, the Duke jokes about executing her, her brother tells her to just give up and start having babies, nobody really seems to be even trying to see her side of things. The girl has undeniable flaws but she's obviously floundering after being abandoned by Chiffon and having her entire life's purpose taken away from her. She deserves to be given a little slack, which if nothing else Miyabi seems to offer her, even if she's reluctant to accept it from him.You might be the only person here who thinks Alisha was in the right there lol
first manga reader to have "I only read and don't look at the pictures"-type lack of reading comprehension XDI know I'm not the type of men that notice accessory and thing
But did she always had a choker ? It really look like it appear out of nowhere to be important
I think it's a nice change of pace to have someone with genre-busting abilities not also be an economic/political genius (beyond the "I got tricked once and now I'll never be taken advantage of again!" freebie they usually get). Either that or he knows he's being taken advantage of and has decided being a doormat is fine if it reunites him with girl. She got hit by the humble Japanese doormat MC energy. "I can't live like you who has no pride" was a great jab.
Chiffon being a 5head master manipulator is starting to get old. She is also the one who arranged Liz's scholarship so they can isolate Miyabi from her in order to control him better. She is in total control of the crafter prince as well. I don't know if the author is self aware enough about how all these things come across. Who is the real MC anyway? Surely not the one currently being utilized like a multipurpose tool.

What? Dude, you think ANYONE would even ask around? Much less, take a bunch of commoners' word over nobility's? All it takes is her pointing the finger.if it were one guy maybe, but she had no power in this situation
what'd alice do, report back that she was disrespected? ok, so someone comes down to investigate. everyone says "nope, nothing happened" and what are they supposed to do, execute the whole workforce? that's a great way to start a revolt.
collective action is and has always been incredibly powerful. that's why the capital class works so hard to promote dissent and disunity among labor.
