Cavaliere finally realized that his way of doing things was wrong. If he had stayed stubborn, maybe someone needed to smack her on the head once so he’d realize his mindset needed fixing. Luckily, he was able to change because of MC’s words
She has been interacting with them. Last chapter (chapter 39) she glared at them after they made a joke until their faces turned dark and they walked away. She called them filthy crafters. She willfully isolated from the rest of the workers and gave off the impression she'd rather be anywhere else, while maintaining her holier-than-thou attitude. This feels a bit rushed, both in terms of how quickly she got into a squabble with the crew and how quickly they forgave her. 's almost like 2-3 chapters worth of plot got reduced to just 1. It also feels a bit off how quickly they turn against her and threaten violence even if she was abrasive and blunt in how she addressed everyone. It's almost like the plot is bending over backwards to try to make Alicia out to be the one in the wrong when she was entirely in the right this chapter. Someone needed to step up in Miyabi's absence and Miyabi himself didn't want his injury to slow down the construction. Frankly the workers were way out of line and this kind of assault on Alicia should have been punished. That all of it is magically resolved just a couple pages later in the chapter makes it all the more jarring to me.
...Also this is just a pet peeve of mine, but I thoroughly dislike it when a manipulative character (Chiffon) has the plot make her decisions right. I'm not giving her a pass for just discarding Alicia, but at least Alicia will be better off without serving someone who can only think of the people around her as pawns to be moved on her chess board.
