@alonerone yeah. Not only were she in a position she couldn't really see them barreling into her, but their social position is also lower. Quite frankly they should have kept professional and kept that gossip about "the royals" to a minimum while working, only keeping it to an extent where it doesn't in any way affect their work (such as making them not pay attention to their surroundings). This kind of mistake is forgivable for regular maids perhaps, but ones that work in the royal castle, serving directly to (foreign?) guests is really supposed to be held to higher standards (impossibly high ones to be exact). In addition to that, they literally ran into a guest of the nobility, not just a mere servant. This kind of situation should at the very least have them fired, or if that society is stricter, put them through punishment and harsh re-training. Particularly as their mistake (even if it actually hadnt been theirs) potentially (its a story, they will save it somehow) ruined plans for that dinner.

You know, I really don't think they need to worry as much as they do for this full course meal.

Apparently this country is known for its food culture (lol), so clearly anything they serve that'll surprise the chefs here is going to kick ass just for being passable by our standards.
