I really hope they don't drag this royal engagement plot point out for long. It's much better from a political standpoint to subtly hint that Risa isn't interested NOW, before an official proposal is issued and especially before she's formally introduced as the prince's fiance. Honestly I agree with other commenters that the proposal doesn't make sense to begin with - Risa isn't trained in politics and statecraft at all! All that stuff would fall on the prince turned king! Like holy shit why would you want someone that inexperienced as your queen, even if she has 'a fresh perspective' given that she's from another world... I'd maybe understand if there were feelings involved, but they've barely met. Like, what's the motivation behind this even...
