Wow. I called it quits after episode 2-3, I think, because while it was very pretty, it was kinda lackluster as an adaption. It's kinda refreshing, but sucks at the same time, to hear that it just got worse.

From what I saw, I think they blew all their budget on making it look really pretty and then forgot they actually had to make it move.

I started reading the manga because of the anime, so yeah why not both? Season's done anyway. Watching it from blank slate, I didn't feel anything was out of place. Definitely appreciate the additional content of the manga though.
