This feels far inferior to the original novel. This wants to focus on the yandere horde, but I find the rise to fame that instigated the horde far more interesting.
In the novel, it was not just a finger snap- the author made it clear that it was effectively the largest gorilla marketing campaign ever, even grander than what can be done on earth. It had him suddenly speak into the minds of every man, woman, and child in the world- with the kind of response you would expect if you AND every single president in the world heard a voice speaking in their head right now.
Additionally, while he is still overpowered, they made it clear that this wasn't just a snap of the fingers actions- he needed centuries of planning and working on his skill build to get it right just so he could work towards this goal
Some works do well transitioning from novel to manga. However, this is a work that focused heavily on internal monologue and conversations, with an emphasis on technical set up rather than action. That is the kind that usually should stay as just a novel.
