It kind of bothers me how often they're bowing in this (and other euorpean-ish setting isekai comics) comic, It just feels out of place; like if someone were to used internet slang in this story, it equally doesn't suit the setting.
Though maybe ye-olden europeans were big on bowing as well, and I'm just wrong on this?

Speaking of countries and other cultures; is their an isekai that has someone from a country other than Japan? Of all the ones I've read, I don't think I can think of one time there has been someone who was isekai'd that isn't japanese. :thonk:
Not saying that they have to be the MC, just that I can't think of any character in an isekai that's non-japanese.

About europeans there was a culture of bowing as well but thats mainly among the aristocrats, not as common among the general population from what I know anyways, I might be wrong so do take it with a grain of salt. It could also just be that given how that person knows about Japan, one of the past reincarnators made it popular enough that it seeped into the culture.

I vaguely recall there being one? manga that had nonjapanese as a reincarnator but its been too long that I can't remember lol.

As european, let me tell you: no it wasn't. As arashikitsu said, among nobility there were bows, but they were more like taking out hats, bending the knee... not the typical japanese bow. Handshakes, arm-grabs, hugs and the like were far more common, specially among the lower classes.

They appear from time to time, but they're incredibly rare. Take into account that Isekai is more often than not a self-fulfilment consumer product instead of literature, and having people of cultures they're not familiar with, either from this world of the other one, "breaks" their power-fantasy. Why do you think the vast majority of Isekais are on Standard-Issue DQ-model eastern japanese worlds instead of fully original ones?

Other than the main skele knight in the Skeleton Knight isekai, all the other reincarnators that turned up in the story were weebs of other nations. So, it's not unheard of.

Hum.. Giving a very valuable item to a defenseless staffer at an orphanage. Surely nothing could go wrong, here :glee:
Yeah. It's brilliant idea.
There's only one woman with no skills and toddlers in a run down orphanage.
Of course, they got connections to a merchant to sell the gem.
And of course, said merchant will give them a very good price for the rare item.
