since it feels like an anything goes scenario, i'll be waiting for MC to start fusing some of his monsters, likely accidentally into beast girls, since he will always struggle with this amount of monsters and a fusing system seems somewhat popular with taming genres.

I'm having the same questions. Where are the other classmates, and what are their thoughts on the MC suddenly becoming a lord out of nowhere? They already had doubts about his taming power, with the prince and the asshole hero putting the idea into their heads about him controlling his tames. Who's to say the other nobles won't put treasonous ideals into their heads? Or worse, what if they start feeling they could take control of the kingdom themselves? Getting too full of themselves, etc.

I only skimmed the raw, so I don't know exactly what they're discussing. But the classmates get a focus in ch 16, 20, and 23 (and maybe beyond).
