yep, I am utterly lost and don't remember what this story is about or how we got here. Sigh. Will have to reread the chapters from... 3 years ago ? Jesus... No wonder.

first off, MC got involved with the king. he is currently a councilor candidate. and has been assigned to deal with the priest girl who has been sent to search for a book about demon lords by a hidden demon lord follower.
Mc convinced her that he helps her look. letting her set up barriers and made her life bait for the second group that would steal the book, and silence her.
mc hatched a plan, took them out and make contact with the follower. which was also a decoy as he tipped of the church of his wearabout and got the follower routed. the follower escape by possessing someone else, and tries to get close to MC, by infiltrating the church envoys but got caught and he escaped again.

the follower then hired 3 blacklist adventures, 1 battle junkie, 1 avenger, and 1 scum to kidnap MC.
they attack Mc and co in broad daylight. and got him in the confusion.

But avenger got other plans, he wants vengeance on Priest girl, who humiliated his adopted father a demon. MC made a deal with him. and lured out Mc`s friends for Battle.

Priest girl only ever fought monsters, so she is hesitant to kill humans.

Glad to see the art is still as amazing as before, tho really, I don't think we are here to see the fight. This manga is all about MC scheming and working around what he lacks. Aka, this manga is all about talking Well, like 95% I'd say.

Describing it like that reminds me of that Notorious Talker manga, although in that one the MC actually does fight a decent amount

Finally, someone from LHT finally picked this up again after dropping it a few years ago... But seriously, I'm bored of waiting getting that span gets translated by anyone picking up a dropped series... because most of the time, they drop it after no ones donating for that series ever again.

Also, pretty much every title page on mangadex has an "Official raw" link which is free to click ! Would have easily shown you that : There is a 34 months hiatus between ch. 29 and ch. 30. Scanlation was only one half chapter behind when this chapter got posted. (Although 32.1 got published since then)
