I was thinking she could be related to Garne given the MC's thoughts about his attachment to the country vs a hypothetical Garne that is more similar to Japan...
But I guess the introducing women clause works too.
After watching Lacra's last page illustration during her first introduction, my hopes aren't up.

OTOH, I like how them both discussing Ilyas's failures and how unlikely the chance of them to get together to the other country, while Marito went, "Look, I'm marrying them off together if I can, but I gotta honor the vow of the bros".

i don't think she's evil, in fact that's like last on my list of roles I think she'll play lol
my guesses are, in order of likelihood:
-a well-trained covert agent intending to get as close as possible to MC (even if just as friends, or getting hired to work for him, or downright intimate) to keep tabs on his ass & report back to the king so he can scheme better ways to control MC
-a straight-up honey trap to try to more concretely pin MC down to the country (last chapter the king was talking about it being difficult to introduce women bc of their "you introduce one, i introduce one" deal, so instead he inserted this nice woman where she'd just coincidentally meet MC & hopefully hit it off without it being an "official introduction" from him, to bypass said arrangement entirely)
-an indirect "push" for the women already in MC's life to be more assertive & do something to tie him down so the king doesn't need to keep dancing around the issue of figuring out how to keep this flake from fucking off
oh wait my bad that isn't multiple guesses, just one! all 3 statements are probably correct & "likelihood" should've been "mission priority" lmao
i guess i can't completely rule out her just being "someone he'll come to like quickly so it fucks him up when she gets offed" regardless of other roles (though that's more of an "author's intention" deal than something characters in-universe would deliberately plot), but i assume she's just a consummate professional covert agent of sorts in the king's employ... which also doesn't rule out the potential heel-turn where he finds out she doesn't give a single fuck about him & their entire relationship is "just a job" to her (that'd make people see her as being kinda evil, right?); but considering the scheming and trust issues going on from the start of the story i doubt he'd trust her for a goddamn second to begin with & even so much as a single additional "chance encounter" after this intro will more than likely cause him to immediately peg her as a spy, whom he'll eagerly feed false intel for whatever the hell his goals happen to be at the time
