I'd love that ability, it would make life easier. But based off my own thoughts - positive, negative, pervy, whatever - I'd be scared also to know the thoughts of the people around me if I couldn't turn it off.
@MCX01: isekai as a term just means a different world, in this context it's just saying it's a fantasy world, not that someone get sent to one.
If you haven't notice, the manga doesn't have isekai tag but fantasy.
@FlashGordan: It's not a true mind reading and more of sensing what the target is 'feeling' (hence why the monsters' perception was hunger), the dude's feelings were just that INTENSE like that.
First two pages really broke my brain in trying to understand what was written. At first I thought it was a case of machine translation, but then everything else is perfect. Just odd phrasing that necessitates pausing without any signals.
Also is “Dungeon where people go to die from love” correct?
The only way this phrase makes sense to me is if its rearranged to
“Dungeon where people’s love goes to die”
@flanman that's fair, I had trouble translating the first two pages because my Japanese isn't quite perfect and more advanced grammar and complex sentences screw me over. So the first 2 pages which tried to come off as a piece of in-world literature made me really confused as well. Sorry for that.
Oh and, for the first sentence my understanding of it is that the literal translation would be: "at the dungeon. because of someone who is in love, you die."
