Looks like Ojiji-sama sets up (at least tries to set up) the MC as a party leader.

This sounds wrong (in the context)...
This sounds like Ojiji-sama would ask Hiro to stay in the village, but it seems like from the actions, that he only ask to speak to Hiro alone.

I'm wondering if Hiro being "aware of his surroundings" here as the leader will end up with him figuring out to do astral projection himself, and watching over the battlefield that way. Though, it might be a bit early for him to figure that out, so maybe he'll just have Hans do it for him instead.
