tbh I don't really have a problem with any of these points except for the fact that you say that it's segregation. I specifically meant that I would like to see a safer area for the more downtrodden people who would like to come for a free meal. This applies to all races. Some people feel very ashamed at the prospect of getting a free meal when they're down on their luck. You're right that this might exacerbate things though. I understand if you're getting heated but I'm human just like you, no need to be so aggressive. I'm not a policy maker and I just wanted to put in my two cents as a meager person on the internet.

It is literally segregation, even if it isn't by race in your example. Although remember that you mentioned that the demon race is the more poor one, so it effectively still ends up as largely racial segregation. Also, as far as we can tell, nobody is really getting a free meal, it's just less for those who couldn't afford to pay as much. This way nobody loses.

Your caution for wanting the more downtrodden to be able to eat safely and peacefully is well natured though. I just personally wouldn't wanna even begin to think what enforcement of that would look like. This is a small place after all
