Sante: my chopsticks...
Chopsticks? What chopsticks? Why? You already got a fork
I actually honestly wonder if there's translation error somewhere, mangaka really wrote that or if my brain failed me while reading cause it makes no sense for him to mention chopsticks when we never saw any so far![]()
Spoken like a true SenshiSorry for the rant, but it's an important environmental detail:
When you go collect mushrooms, never cut them. Instead, tear the whole sprout out of the ground. There's a proper technique but beginners can just be delicate.
Cutting the stem prevents the mushroom's regrowth and can cause issues with the fungus' development and in some rare cases can lead to death. Mushrooms are essential for the wellbeing of forests and plains alike: it even was demonstrated that a forest without fungi will wither no matter what.
Also, make sure to put the collected sprouts in a woven basket and not inside a plastic bag, so spores can be disseminated while you walk around.

Isn't this a myth? A study from switzerland said that cutting the stem or pulling it all out does not affect the health of the fungus colony. You would pull the whole stem out if you either want to check certain wild mushrooms if they are the toxic variety or not, or if you plan to transplant the mushrooms to another location.Cutting the stem prevents the mushroom's regrowth and can cause issues with the fungus' development and in some rare cases can lead to death.
If it is I wasn't informed.Isn't this a myth?
