Huh, I never noticed the artist's use of a 3D reference program before but I definitely recognize those poses and shapes of it from that first panel. Nothing against the artist since I know it speeds up work flow and their attention to detail means background characters are consistent and have faces when appropriate. It's a reasonable use of that program (there are some manga out there where the artist draw half of the chapter by using that program, don't give any faces to background characters and sometimes don't even bother to give the main character one either)

i really love how this manga approaches world-building. there's a lot of stuff happening in the background and while the main story is the diner, the world behind in continues to move on and leak through the peeks and glimpses in the diner's patrons.

Arrogant and keeping a stellar look, typical asshole recipe.
Usually I will agree but this manga so far always put hidden message that varies to the readers, not sure what is the hero role in this story, or the scavenger on the hero.

That said, this chapter is another good chapter. Dude testing the human if he know the importance bits of demon sides. If he know how to consume it, he know roughly demon diet and living environment, no hesitation and his own explanation is also a good bonus ensuring the demon that he is in good hand, for now.

You’ve perfectly encapsulated the vibe that’s been drawing me to this manga!

It’s like, all that anyone can do is try to provide a warm meal and a listening ear while an inevitable and terrible fate looms in the horizon: be it death, war, or a system stacked against anyone deemed less desirable by its rulers.

The rustic and welcoming atmosphere of the frontier resturant can almost make you forget the troubles of the world outside, but the world continues still wear away at its walls.

Eventually, something has to give.

This manga doesnt have violence hes going to get a stern talking to about how "heckin racism is le bad" and either storm off angry never to be seen again or decide theyre right and scavengers are people to or whatevers bugging him.
