This reminds me that Nobu’s taisho does all this work (planning, prepping, cooking) himself and he’s only slightly older than Shotaro, I think. Now Shinobu does help and she has experience in the ryoutei business, so that’s something.
That said the fact that Nobu’s taisho gets it together and only need to worry about improving himself is quite something.

And it’s also interesting that between these two series we get to see the cooks from a gradient of their experience from rookie to intermediate to veteran.

It's cool seeing the swap in roles between Shohei and Shotaro. Now Shohei is the support and Shotaro is doing his best being in charge, but he still has Hinata who is actually doing a fantastic job with both helping Shotaro and the customers too.

LOL given how popular the izakaya is, a 'half assed' ver of their dishes might still be better than the other local stuff (if not even selling some packaged stuff too), but stuff like stews and other stuff you could make in bulk ahead of time would be good
