I really hope this doesn't go the route of his isekai experience being real. This has so much more potential with it being a delusion. I mean, his sword was called "reality" and his cheat skill was something to do with growth. Perhaps a not so subtle suggestion that he must embrace reality to grow? And maybe the girls are a team of rogue therapists trying to piece back together the broken otaku of Japan or something? I don't know. I might be reaching here but I think the concept's got potential.

Why is it that nearly every Japanese manga with good art and nice character designs has to be ruined by a main character that's always a lobotomized doormat with zero redeeming qualities? It's like these authors get a kick out of ruining what could be an actual decent story by making the main character as unlikable as possible. I actually want to read this because the art is top notch but how am I supposed to enjoy it when the main character is so shitty and pathetic that I want to barf whenever he's in a panel?

Why the fuck would he even choose to return to Earth, LMAO. He literally said that he returned to Earth "with great regret." If he regretted it so much, then what was the reason that made him choose Earth? Does he even have a family in this world? At least give an actual reason.

It would be really cool twist if he is just schizophrenic and the hero stuff is just his delusions, that would explain him not growing as a person while in another world; and also having the other girls are just escaping reality by faking being from another world because they hate their life or sum shit

I get that stories need set up but with a manga the first chapter has to grab you and ones like this that load way too much into too few pages really just need to get to the point. You can circle back later to further explain things.

that was the most retarded excuse to make the mc go back to earth. couldn't they at least make some shit up like how defeating the demon lord opened up a portal that sucked him in or literally anything else?

I already know this manga is gonna be complete ass but I'll wait for next chapter to know for sure
